Corrective care is a scientific, and proven chiropractic technique which corrects and restores your spine back to alignment.
Corrective care combines biology, physiology, physics, geometry, and anatomy to identify the causes of your pain, discomfort, loss of mobility, and altered health. That means your diagnosis – and treatment – will be based on sound scientific and chiropractic principles.
We start with a scientifically-based examination of your posture, spinal alignment, and function – often involving x-rays as a way to pinpoint the root cause of your spinal misalignment. Once the source is identified, we will create a carefully-planned series of adjustments, exercises, and a spinal remodeling programs to put you on a pain-free road to better health.
Unlike regular chiropractic that mainly focus on immediate pain relief, corrective care goes one step further to also correct the source of the problem. That’s why most patients not only report relief from pain and discomfort, but as their posture begins to align, they notice other conditions clearing up as well.
Using an actual example from a patient who came to our office, this patient was a 33 year old male complaining of neck pain with pain and weakness to the arms. As you can see in the before x-ray image when he first came to our office, the patient has a 57mm forward head posture. This is far from an optimal cervical curve and put a great deal of pressure on the spine and nerve in the neck, causing any number of symptoms. In the after image you can see on the x-ray that the forward head posture was reduced 59% to 24 mm, this relieves a large amount of the pressure and leads to far better quality of life for the patient.
